Digital Communications

Email — suggestion for group consideration The tech team recently updated the PRSN Gmail password as a security measure. This did not affect Google Drive access — editor permissions are managed separately and remain intact.

Looking ahead, the tech trusted servants would like to bring a suggestion to the group: creating dedicated email addresses tied to specific service roles rather than relying on a single shared inbox. This would reduce clutter, improve continuity of service, and make it easier to manage access as trusted servants rotate. This aligns with Tradition Two and Concept Ten, which together support clearly defined service authority matched to each service responsibility. This is offered as a suggestion for group conscience.

Area and district affiliation By group conscience vote, PRSN is affiliated with Area 12, District 14 — Delaware. The website will be updated to reflect this affiliation.

From the 76th General Service Conference

Items from the final agenda relevant to digital communications:

Public Information — Reports are on the agenda for Google Ads, the Meeting Guide app, the GSO website (aa.org), the AAWS YouTube channel, online business profiles, and the AAWS Social Media Policy. A proposed 2026 AA membership survey is also under consideration.

Policy & Admissions — The Conference will discuss creating a "Conference Committee on Digital Communications" — a proposal that could meaningfully shape how AA engages digitally at the national level.

Treatment & Accessibilities — The committee will consider a request to evaluate locally produced safety-related video material for potential adaptation by GSO. As an online group, PRSN has a direct interest in how safety standards develop for virtual meeting environments.
